“Evaluating School Hearing Screening Practices聽 – Call for research participants for interviews

Are you involved in school hearing screening? We鈥檇 love to hear from you!聽UCL Ear Institute, with funding from聽NHS England, is conducting an online study to better understand hearing screening practices in聽special education residential schools.

Who can take part?

We鈥檙e looking for聽school nurses, teachers, audiologists, or any school or clinical staff trained to carry out hearing screening in special education settings. This is following the rollout of the NHS England ‘Ear Checks’ programme in October 2024.

馃捇听Where and how?

This is a聽fully online study. Participation involves a聽1-hour interview聽with our researcher. We plan to carry out interviews聽from May to July 2026.
