The National Deaf Children鈥檚 Society has appointed Samantha Lear as its new Senior Audiology Advisor.
Samantha is currently vice-president of the British Academy of Audiology and has nearly 30 years of experience as a Clinical Scientist in Audiology.
She will join the charity from聽Sheffield Children鈥檚 NHS Foundation Trust, where she currently works as Lead Clinical Scientist in Hearing Services, on November 8th.
Her previous roles include scientific input into the newborn hearing screening programme at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield, and at Great Ormond Street Hospital in their paediatric cochlear implant programme.
Susan Daniels OBE, Chief Executive of the National Deaf Children鈥檚 Society, said:
