Exemptions
Exemptions must be agreed with an awarding body prior to the examination. If agreed, candidates will miss a component or components of an examination. This will result in a note on the candidate鈥檚 certificate to say that not聽all of the assessment objectives were accessible.聽There are strict deadlines for exemptions to be submitted. Exemptions are only to be considered as a last resort when all other arrangements have been considered and no other arrangement is possible. The exemption is only allowed for up to 40% of the qualification. Please see the regulations for more details regarding this last point
