SignHealth training – Domestic Abuse in the Deaf Community

“We currently have Home Office funding聽to deliver specialist training and workshops for mainstream providers across England. As a result, there is聽no cost to your organisation聽for participating. One of our key offers,聽Domestic Abuse in the Deaf Community, is delivered by an聽experienced Deaf trainer with specialist professional experience in domestic abuse.
This workshop supports organisations to strengthen their response to Deaf survivors by addressing systemic barriers to access and engagement. It provides evidence-informed insight grounded in both lived and professional experience, alongside practical considerations for improving accessibility, professional practice, and referral pathways.聽Deaf Awareness guidance聽can also be incorporated to support inclusive service delivery.
The Domestic Abuse in the Deaf Community聽workshop covers:
