Are you aged 12–18 and passionate about sport? This is your chance to show what you can do! Our Talent Days are designed to help young Deaf athletes discover their potential and take the first steps on the Deaflympic pathway.
We’re excited to launch the first three Talent Days across the country: Worcester 26 July, Exmouth 5 August, and Northampton (Moulton College) 9 August; a Welsh centre will follow in the autumn. These will give you the opportunity to train, be tested, and meet experienced coaches who understand Deaf sport.
Whether you’re already competing or just getting started, this is all about finding future Deaflympians and supporting the next generation of talent.
This 2026 participation event is for all deaf 12 to 18-year-olds, irrespective of the type of hearing loss. Queries may go to the Event Lead, UKDS Talent Pathway Manager Phil Powell, [email protected]
If you love sport and dream big, this could be the start of your journey
